A Few Camera & Fog of War Suggestions

Hello everyone,

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for your continued work on Myth II. It's amazing to see that, after all these years, there are still people dedicated to keeping this incredible game alive and improving it. Your patches and updates are truly appreciated.

I have a few questions and suggestions that I hope you don't mind considering.

Would it be technically possible to increase the maximum camera distance (zoom out a bit more)? I think having a wider view of the battlefield would be a great quality-of-life improvement.
Is there any way to modify the camera angle? It would be interesting to have the option to tilt it a little more, if that's feasible.
Finally, would it be possible to add an option to make the fog of war darker? I think stronger contrast between explored and unexplored areas could improve visibility and the overall atmosphere.

I completely understand if these changes are difficult or limited by the game's engine. I'm mostly curious whether they're technically possible.

Thank you again for everything you've done for this classic game. Your work is greatly appreciated by longtime fans like me.

We're more active on the discord, but in case a google search leads people here -

It's a mapmaker feature to zoom out more on new maps, but for older maps, having you able to zoom out more from the getgo breaks some map's flow, or spoils things, like puzzles, or where enemies spawned. The same is true for the camera angle, though, if you are playing offline, 1.8.5 includes a FPV camera you can use for getting screenshots.

It's not that these haven't been thought of before, but there's not a one-size-fits-all solution for it.
